Lucy or Lucy Bear is about 7 years old. She is spayed and current on shots. Her current owners desperately need to find a new home for her and have asked PAWS to help with this. She is a black and tan Coon Hound. She was rescued from a shelter after she was taken from a previous owner who did not treat her well. After a lot of work, she has been turned into a great loving dog. She is a good watch dog. She loves to go for walks and run around and smell everything. She is also very content just lying around the house, preferably the couch. She rides well in the car. Once you get to know her, her personality comes out and she likes to play, although she is a little nervous about toys. She needs a home with a fenced yard where she can run around and be safe. Right now she is primarily an inside dog, but that is not enough for her. She needs lots of room and activity. She would be best with older kids in a family setting with no babies or toddlers.
